Austin Teitelbaum, DDS

Dr. Austin Teitelbaum grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas. He attended Texas Christian University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry as well as a minor in Spanish. Following graduation, he moved to Houston to attend the University of Texas School of Dentistry.  While there, he developed an interest in diseases of the periodontium and oral rehabilitation.  After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in Houston, this interest led him to pursue specialty training in Periodontics at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. This three year intensive periodontal residency program included advanced education in the disciplines of dental implant surgery, managing oral inflammation and esthetic and plastic oral surgery. He then successfully completed the board certification course from the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Teitelbaum’s philosophy of treatment is to provide quality oral healthcare while keeping the patient’s comfort a priority. His patients will always be well informed of their treatment options and will have the final decision in which choice is best for their needs.

When not treating patients, Dr. Teitelbaum enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, being involved at church, hunting, snowboarding, TCU football and participating in medical missions.
